Would we drop Amankwaah for him though I wonder? I don't know how good he is, but I love Manky and JP linking up down the right and wouldn't want to lose that. Besides, if we were to get Caddis, he's far more versatile and would be more likely to be happy being backup than Mullins I'd imagine.

I might be wrong, but despite us having a mostly settled side last season, KA was left out for Darby on a fair few occasions, which is perhaps indicative that Mr Wilson is not entirely sure about him.

Well he's not the most defensive minded defender is he, which might be why at times he wasn't played. He's a bit like Glen Johnson, only better at defending and not as fat.

I can't imagine that Rotherham would be in a position to offer better terms than us. This leads me to believe we never offered him a deal in the first place, or, we did but now we've got someone else lined up instead and withdrew the offer.

Hopefully this opens the door for Caddis.

Don't think Caddis will be happy to be backup here, he is on the bench at Celtic and has started games for them.  If he joins us on loan I am pretty sure it will be as first choice right back with Big Kev making way.
