For the first time in years we have a team being built where a fair few you would be happy to wear the captains arm band.

Lucas
Greer
Cuthbert
Douglas
Prutton
McGovern

Thats 6 very experienced(bar cuthbert) players we got and all would be starting 11.Apart from maybe 2 or 3 teams most in this league would be very happy with those players in the team.

Yup. Should help the likes of Austin no end as well.

Delighted with everything about our club at the moment.

Actually DRS that's a pretty tough looking spine to the team.

The crazy thing is you only need 3-4 to make a decent spine, which shows how formidably strong our team could be next year. I think our team could be quite scary for the opposition next season.

Personally there aren't many central midfield partnerships i'd rather not come up against in this league over Douglas and Prutton.

That has the potential to be phenominal, especially away from home when we're needing to grind out a win. Add to that the work rate of McGovern and our midfield is looking pretty formidable.

Then Greer and Cuthbert who compliment each other well, and Charlie to bang in the goals. All the while Lucas is barking out orders.

I have a feeling 'Opposition 0-1 Swindon, Austin' could be a regular occurrence again.

Could be a season to far exceed last seasons efforts, as long as we make around 5 more solid signings.

Edit: I'm not excited though, honest.
