There seem to be about 95 David Prutton threads at the moment but I didn't want this to get lost. Check out DP's interview on STFC Player if you've not done so already. I thoroughly recommend it, the bloke is absolute class.

That is all.

Sorry for yet another David Prutton thread.

I really am Roll Eyes

Welcome to STFC David! Judging by your interview you seem to be quite a character and i think
a lot of the fans will take to you.

That was great but there was a bit more humour in the World interview..such as referring to Col U's pitch as a bog and when asked about us having a combative midfield this season with him and Dougie he said, "That means we're a bit dirty doesn't it?.....yeah......but we can play a bit as well, there's no use going out there if you're just going to fanny around!" Not word for word but you get the jist of it Cool

Ah! Assumed it'd be the same interview on both.

He's right on both counts there. I think he'll fit into the side with ease; also sounds like he's looking forward to having the ball coming through the midfield for once, rather than looking upwards as it flies over his head every time Colewe get the ball.

Saw a goal on Points West earlier that he scored for Col U. Nice finish it was. Hopefully we'll see more of that from him this coming season. Welcome aboard Prutts.

I'm sure you're not entirely serious, but Prutts can play the advanced role if needed.

Wilson's talking about him getting assists and a few goals, so hopefully that'll be the case. How many did Ferry score? 2 wasn't it?

Just have to replace Wards 10. The others in midfield probably didn't manage 5 between them all season.

Towards the back end of last season Ferry was getting forward a lot more than he was at times earlier on in the season. Think we'll see Prutts play a similar role to that.

Agree Rich.

I love how we're already calling him 'Prutts' as though he's been here for years.

Didn't he push over a lino when he went to Southampton and get a three month ban or something? Hero.

Yeah, in many ways it ruined him. I've looked for the footage but couldn't find it.
