Bought my new car today, finaly found a VW Golf, a car i have loved since i dont know when.
52 Plate
1.8 GTI Turbo.
150BHP 0-60 8.2 Secs (but can be done in 7.8 alegedly) top speed 138mph.
BEAST!!

you only turn into a chav when you lower the suspension, put in florescent lighting, tint the windows, beef up the alloys and play snoop and thingy west. all done outside halfords.
what you are is an old boy racer.

the golf as a whole is, but not the 1.8 t gti, due to stupid insurnace prices, i cant imagine what an 18-21 year old would pay judging by what i just did. |

I didn't mean it in a bad way but they can be remapped to silly horse power. What group insurance is it?

Can the Mark 4 version (which I presume yours is) of the Golf be chav? It always looked the more sensible version of the Golf to me. |

Golf's aren't as chav as they were, I happen to think VW is one of the more premium brands. Besides, the majority of the old golf crowd have migrated to 3 series BMW's these days.
