Probably true, also being only 25 he has a bit more time on his side

Yes. Valid point.

Timlin is a better player than Easton, just needs a bit of confidence and consistency.
I couldn't disagree more. Timlim flatters to deceive and time is ruuning out for him to realise some of his promise. Maybe a month or two loan at a lower level would help him realise his potential and get his confidence up.

We're keeping the wrong one Sad

It's a pity Malpas fucked him about, he was fantastic in his first season here. Never looked the same since though sadly. Still better than michael timlin though

agree with the diagreers! I think Easton is a very good player and offers far more than Timlin. Don't think Timlin's shit, just not as reliable... shame to see eastie go. Good player, nice fella, good luck.

No chance.

No pace, can't tackle, doesn't score goals.

Lays off the odd decent pass but never makes an impact on games. Easton offers much more.

Actually you've just described Easton as well. I like him as a pro and he did good stuff outside of football, but I can honestly say I never saw him have a good game for us. Maybe I was just unlucky( 30 odd times)

In my eyes, Easton > Timlin, who just seems to hide behind the ref, commit silly fouls, and misplace passes.

Easton has a quality season and was never given a chance to reproduce that form. I would have rather kept him than Timlin.

Although Timlin did score one of the best goals I have ever seen at the County Ground, albeit in a reserve match against Bristol City - only about 20 people saw it. I expect the other 19 tell the story 'I was there when Timlin scored one of the best goals of all time' but I expect no one believes the story.

You really had to be there.

Shame Easton is off but oh well. If we were to get Ferry that would be immense.

Well Celtic are after Bullard and Liam Lawrence. If i was ferry i would be knocking on Lennons door asking for a move to be honest.

Fair play, Easton's obviously doing it for footballing reasons.

He seemed pretty keen on the idea of staying here before the play-off final. I guess it's a case of trying to find the cash that Celtic would want.

I'll have you know Easton has scored 4 times as many goals for us than Timlin  Wink

Timlin may not be first choice but i really don't think we will be able to get better than him to just come and keep the bench warm.May aswell keep him here and save Wilson a job of having to mess around trying to find a replacement.
