Batman. The best TV show ever?

I reckon it's got to be up there due to its over the top pop art camp style.

Just started downloading a torrent of it. Unbelievable that its never been released on DVD and it's unlikely it ever will be, no one seems to know exactly why but it's likely to be partly licensing and partly them being embarrassed by it now (compared to the current Batman styling). Wankers. They need to re-master it and get it released.

That is from Batman the Movie (which was a one off special involving all 4 of the main villains ganging up together) and this IS available on DVD. We have a copy which the kids love, far more than the much darker later films. The other classic line is when he is drawn into a trap only to escape from the building with a bomb & wherever he tries to throw the bomb he sees little kids or cuddly kittens - "Some days you just cant get rid of a bomb!"
