Somerset managed to chase 343 in 50 overs to beat Australia today.

It may damage the Aussies' confidence a bit but it won't have that much effect on the international games, but it's a superb effort nonetheless.

GET IN!!!  Beers

great stuff all round, even without Caddick and Johnson we didn't do to badly as we won! Smith and Jayasuria hit some runs for Somerset (both 100+) and we damage the aussies for the england boys! Come on England!  Cheesy

On one hand its great that the Aussies have got another kicking....but its frustrating that Jayasuriya has done squat, and now comes good, presumably not bothered about ordinary fare....in which case why get him....and Smith comes good OK he's had less time to impress and may kick on.
