I'm thinking we're gonna concede more before the 90 mins are out.

I don't know who's supposedly our defensive midfielder, but whenever we've lost the ball the Germans have had a free run at our defence, and there has been no closing down of their players.
Golden generation....what a fucking joke?

I don't understand how the commentators are saying Lampard's 'goal' is now academic. If it'd been given then it would be a completely different game.

This isn't down to the management. It's a player power generation.
It's the ultimate wake up call, as long as English football is governed the way it is then pray for our international game.

to be fair, the defence should probably do some defending as well.

The non-goal will be talked about... But the scoreline kills hysteria.

I never expected us to win the World Cup, but to go out to the Germans like this hurts.

Trouble is it appears only Cole knows how to do this.

Agreed. The nation will be scathing and now I cannot defend them.

So will the fans boo or applaud our Premiership heroes?

We appear to have very poor understanding of basic football.
That's because there is too many of our midfield players who would rather look for personal glory ahead of the team. That is why Gerrard, who started out as the defensive midfield player, and played in that position in the 2001 5-1 win in Munich, no longer wants to play in that position as he wants to be forward and score goals. Capello should tell them, you either play in x position or you don't play at all, and you have 11 men who wants to play for their country, and not pick anyone who 'retires'. Rooney has been a big disappointment....in fact most of the team have.

Usually at least one England players increases their stock some what after the World Cup/Euros.
I dont think a single England player can lay claim to that this time, David James did alright but Germans 3rd should have been saved.

Why bother with injury time? Put us out of our misery.
