Tennis shouldn't even be an Olympic sport. Its obvious that almost any player holds winning a slam in much higher regard than an Olympic gold. He's definitely better than Henman. The fact he's beaten Nadal and Fed in ranking events tells you that. Just needs to stick a slam win in now. |

I think people would like Murray more if he was uncompetitive and a bit rubbish. We seem to hate having someone with genuine talent and hunger to succeed in this country. It makes all the fat, sweaty, useless wankers log in to internet forums and call him a cunt for being relatively successful.
I think we generally get the sports teams and players we deserve:
Exhibit A: "British tennis is shit, we have no good players. Except the World number 4, but he doesn't smile much, once made a joke about football, and has a funny accent, so I think he's a cunt".
