Fucking boo. Down 2 fucking sets. Doesn't seem a fair reflection of the match, but then Murray had so many breaks he's failed to take. I've turned it off in a strop.

Murray was awful in the 2nd half of the 3rd set. Missed too many easy shots or at least shots that you'd expect him to make. I don't think Nadal was brilliant but he was good enough to beat Murray on the day. Still think that Murray chokes when it really matters. I don't buy into this whole "but he was simpley outclassed" lark. He had his chances and didn't take them.

I do feel a little bit sorry for Murray though. Any other decade he could of won a few grand slams and been world no1 but as it stands he has players who are no doubt the best players of all time.
As for today i disagree with Iffy i thought he was outclassed,Murray played some amazing shots today and Nadal returned them like they were nothing.

It was a far closer match than a straight sets victory seems. Both of them played very well. Murray faded towards the end of the third set but he deserved to win the second set and the first was very even.

Yeah, hed only have the like of Sampras, Agassi, Lendl, McEnroe, Becker and Connors to compete with. If he went back far enough he might beat some bloke called Bunny though.

Total different level of players batch. What i am saying batch at this moment in time he is sat right behind what most people would class as the best 2 players of all time.

How do you compare the best players of today to the best players in history? The equipment & training is much better now, so you would have to say that if the likes of Laver, Borg, Mcenroe & Sampras had those advantages they would be at the top of the game today. I remember that a lot of people said similar things about Henman, and how he was unlucky to be playing in an era with Sampras.

Well we won't know will we. My point still stands that at this very moment he is behind the two best players of all time. True?
As for comparing to past players and equipment it's hard to say and again we will never know it's all guesswork.

Exactly, so we can't say that Federer & Nadal are the best two players of all time then, can we? However they are the best two players of this era
