But his performances at Wolves and WBA in the league cup in 2001 keep him well away from this list.  The boy had some talent, but didn't have a clue what to do with it most of the time.

Not entirely relevant though, is it?  Glenn Hoddle was a prick.  Still the best player I've seen in a town shirt.

My old man man met Shaun Close once and  said he was a very nice man indeed.  Maybe niceness and ability are inversely proportional?
