Rose began his career as a trainee at Manchester United where he was released before making an appearance.[1] He joined Conference National club Chester City, moving on to Hereford United[2] and then into the Football League with Yeovil Town, from where he spent spells on loan at Cheltenham Town and Scunthorpe United.[2][3] In the summer of 2006 he agreed to join Stockport County on a two-year contract ,[4] at the end of which he signed a one-year extension with the option of a further year.[5] His knack for scoring long-range free kicks[3] made Rose a fans' favourite at Stockport, leading to terrace chants of "Michael Rose has got magic toes".[citation needed]

Rose joined Norwich City on loan until the end of the 2009–10 season. On 30 January 2010, he scored the winning goal in a 2–1 victory over Hartlepool United

No shortage of players congratulating him after those goals. Good celebrations with the fans and his team mates. Looks a popular player? Another leader on the pitch?

Seems like a good signing from what I've seen

Would be good to have a player chipping in with goals from free kicks too
