Can anyone cite any sources for all these rumours as to why prutton hasn't signed yet? Other clubs interested? Where did this Ipswich rumour come from? And where are these failed medical rumours coming from? I wouldn't normally pay them any mind but I can't see why it takes days between a medical and signing? Anyone have any ideas?

As I said earlier, BBC RS said he passed the medical and would probably join up with the rest of the squad Monday. So hopefulky its just paperwork, the FL must be busy this time of year.

That said, we've done deals that don't materialise many times before.

As he is officially the second coming (first was Dougie) there is a delay as the original donkey that was going triumphantly parade him down Manchester Road has gone to Leeds and we're still looking for a replacement !
