Would be very happy if he signed, Quality player that has it all and can score goals too, Would be the perfect replacement for Ferry presuming he's not coming back, Although it would be great if Ferry signed as well.
Timlin & Easton would be lucky to get on the bench if we signed Prutton & Ferry, Then again Prutton is very versatile and can play in a number of positions including right back and right midfield.

Do we even know if Danny's remotely interested? I mean Brighton were interested a long time ago and the only noise i've heard from us, is me  wondering if he'd be worth a punt in the rumours thread. I think it's just journos making up shit that's plausible to fill a few lines of webpage. If that's all it was then I wouldn't have paid it any attention. It was only when someone on here said that it was mentioned on the local radio today that my ears perked up. I just heard the latest bulletin and they said "......set to make their first signing of the summer......" I'm fairly certain that they only say things like that when it's almost signed & sealed. They don't get involved when it's just idle gossip. |

I think those problems at Southampton did ruin him, I remember when he first came through the ranks at Forest he was superb and tipped for a big future in the game. Still more than good enough for the Championship, As i said above i am very surprised that Coventry aren't in for him as Boothroyd rates him highly, We know not to get our hopes up until it's signed, sealed and delivered after the Theo Robinson saga last summer. Then again Radio Swindon don't normally report about bullshit rumours. |
