Ok then, so if we get the 2018 WC we can start flinging patio chairs about because it's the English WC and that's what we do?

Grow up. It's about the atmosphere not the violence. If we did get the world cup, and fans starting chanting inexplicit language would people complain then?

Like DRS said, most are looking for a reason/excuse just to complain. It's the wc, and embrace the different culture!

lololol I see wot u dun der. If you're all too stupid to tune out a sound whilst watching football that's your own problems. I however, have been loving this world cup. I've watched every game and despite some of them being a bit poo, I have no complaints at all.

1. I don't think Samdy was being all that serious
2. As has been pointed out numerous times in this thread already, it's not 'culture', it's a recent fad

As in culture, I meant atmosphere.

How is it a recent fad? It's happened in 1 World Cup and will not be replicated over here. People just want it to be what it's like over here. People at the games are not moaning are they because they are enjoying themselves.

How do you know people at the games aren't complaining about it? I bet they are.

b3nny - are you having a quiet day again? Your job seems fucking easy - I might have a word in your boss's ear.

BTW the England fans wouldn't have been that loud on Saturday anyway - look at the shit stadium they played in, the worst one of the lot by far;

Maybe they'll have more joy under this glass roof in Cape Town on Friday (where Italy play tonight also);

Reasonably quiet, yes. I wouldn't say easy, nor that difficult, just, sort of... gives me too many windows to be a bit bored and come back here.

The Vuzuzela's are only really annoying when the games are dull.

I've got mixed feelings about it.

It's good too see some interest in the instrument. I myself have grade 5 vuvuzela, and it really is wonderful sounding when played right. I don't like to see people judging the instrument so harshly when they've only heard some amateur tooting.
