I'm baffled as to why people can't accept that some people don't find them annoying. Is this a place where an alternative viewpoint won't be tolerated? Well you can fuck that right off. Personally I don't get why there's such a fuss about them - but I respect that many people are annoyed by them. I just phase them out and concentrate on the game & the commentary (oh, and the close-ups of the totty in the crowd).

Oh great, these bloody things already seem to have robbed the world cup grounds of atmosphere, anyone actually heard a decent chant or song yet? Not even the England fans. All we can hear is this bloody sound, why aren't people at the ground watching the football? Yes, i know, moan, groan, miserable old sod etc etc, but, it is the world cup and the only thing that is, so far worse than the bloody Vuvuzela's (forget Rob greens error for a second) has been the total lack of enthusiasm from any of the TV commentators.

Ban the Vuvuzela, lets hear the fans sining, the korean drums and, even, God help me, the England band.

Yup fair enough arriba/si pie - I just thought he was getting a lot of stick just because he felt differently to the majority, but I suppose he was also firing from both barrels.

I haven't caught much of it as I try my best to miss it. But from what I've seen so far it seems pretty much the same as MOTD2 which is typical of ITV - totally devoid of originality, just nick a presenter and copy the format.

I'll have to take your word for that (though not surprised), my tv's virtually on mute because of the fucking horns. Even with messing about with the various settings on my AV Receiver and I can't filter out the fucking things.
