Nice photos. I'll do Brighton next season, shame about the ramshackle ground but I imagine the pubs beforehand in the city centre would be a good laugh.

Beers I was in Brighton the other week and was very impressed. Here in Bournemouth it's all flashy bars with barely a traditional style pub in sight. The pubs your way seem to have a lot more character. Can picture how lively it'll be when we play the Seagulls and descend on a few establishments in great number.

Am I right in saying Seagulls supporters are generally a sound bunch?

I reckon they should try selling tickets. It might just catch on.

really cant see them filling it to be a problem, they have one of the biggest catchment areas in the country and i know lots and lots of people who wont go to the theatre of trees. BHA really is a team that represents more than just the city they come from, they represent sussex as a county.these include worthing, haywards heath, burgess hill, littlehampton, bognor regis, horsham, crawley, east grinstead, hastings, eastbourne, bexhill, lewes and newhaven. thats a hell of a lot of people

Heres an example for you, every single corporate box has already sold out for falmer, yet they dont sell out the very few they have at withdean

This does look as if it's going to be a 'good' relocation - one that' going to give BHA a proper lift - as opposed to the cut price, poorly located 'bad' relocation that Oxford went for.  KOT's comments about the club representing the county are interesting...it doesn't feel as if BHA does that at the moment, but I cans see how it will in future with the new ground as a focal point.  Norwich is the other club that stands out for me in that way...represents the whole of Norfolk, not just the city.

What it shows, I think, is that when you relocate/redevelop, you get one chance to get it right - and that's it.  Shaw Tip would have been a disaster for us - tucked away in a sleepy corner of town, miles from the decent bars, pubs and shops.  Very glad we haven't followed Oxford's lead there.  Brighton are building their ground out of town, but are ensuring they have proper transport links to get there.  In our case, we're redeveloping right in the middle of town...even better.  That's why I'm genuinely excited at the prospect of our 'new' ground.  I think it will give the club an important lift, just like BHA seem to be getting.

It does look a nice relocation, it will give them a huge boost.
