Firstly I am here with no issues at all towards Swindon.  My girlfriend is a STFC fan and we have been to a fair number of games this season.

I really wanted you guys to get promoted today,as it would have meant a good local derby next years and it would have kept Milwall out of our division.

I rate Danny Wilson as a manager very highly and when at BCFC he always played good attacking football.  The one thing that he could never do was get us of League 1.

Today was almost a repeat of when we played Brighton in 2004ish.  For whatever the reason the team just didnt turn up that day and we bottled it and it was that game that finally cost him his job.

Wilson has made some fantastic loan signings over the season and I hope that next season you can go one step further and make it upto the Championship, its a brilliant league to be in.

Think I agree with all of that. We just didn't do ourselves justice on or off the pitch. We need to move on quickly, and look forwards rather than backwards.

We didn't turn up. No argument there. Massively, massively disappointing. Emo

Getting bored of this Danny Wilson 'bottles it' stance from City fans. No offence mrdc19, Wilson didnt 'bottle' it today, the players did in the first half. He must have gave a good halt time talk because we did pick up in the second half, but to little to late.

I must agree, the occasion got to the side and not the manager. They perfomed better once Danny got his hands on them!

The 'bottled it' thing comes from dropping Lita for their Final 6 years ago. Luckily there isn't a popular senior Swindon player whispering in the ear of Fitton telling him that he could do a better job! I wonder if Tinnion is on Wilson's Christmas card list?

A fair write up otherwise,

If we are  honest the signs weren't good for the last month or so of the season. When the pressure has been on we haven't played well. Might be coincidence I suppose. We are a young team and I have absolutely no doubt they DID give a fuck and are gutted to a man. But the occasion got to them despite doing everything they could to not let it to.

They'll come out of it better players wherever they play next season.

I met a Reading fan in the pub who came to watch us as well, odd behaviour if you ask me.
