We came out of the station and went in to the Ibis hotel bar.  All Swindon in there, £4 a pint!!  This guy comes in, and to be honest he looked like plain clothes law, started chatting saying he was a neutral from Preston!  On his phone all the time, suddenly a gang of Millwall chavs come in, stand in the doorway and try to goad the town fans.  Everybody just looked at them and laughed, they tried again and then finally left - with the "man of preston" in tow.  He was obviously the spotter for them.  What they didn't know was there was a bit of a balcony upstairs with two uniformed policemen on it watching their antics!

I was in the Ibis at about 12.30 (having a coffee), highlight was a taxi pulling up with two Wall fans and a blonde bird in a tight, short black mini. I would not have minded being sat next to her if my side scored, she would have got some hug and squeeze.

Missed that one DB, must have been there at the same time as you as we were on the 11-28 from Bicester (not meant to stop at Wembley, but it was rammed with Town fans so they announced that we did not have to change at High Wycombe and the train would stop at the stadium - about the only result we got yesterday!)

I was in there too from about 12 til 2. I saw the chavs, they were funny. I didn't see them doing any goading. In fact, i didn't see them do anything other than walk in, look completely out of place and walk out again - not even dirty looks or anything. The very few Millwall that were in there seemed OK. 3 lagers and 3 cokes = £21 ouch!!!

Sorry Juddie haven't been on here since Sat - yes I was (sunnies - must've looked a bit of a twat inside, but I had what felt like the beginning of a migraine - which didn't materialise thank god). I take it you were one of the folks that were with him then?

Is he coming back, or is he staying on BBC Brizzle?

Sorry Batch (see above post) - he said current deal runs til April & then what happens after that is up in the air. I asked if he has split loyalties when we meet either of the Bristols (ahem) & he made it very clear that he's on our side  Smiley

I'm jiggered. Obviously I know who you are but - aside from your avatar - I don't know your face.
