I reckon most of you guys got seats in the first tier, but from pictures and videoes I've seen it's a great overview from the lower part of the third tier as well. Thankfully we're in the 9th row - so not all the way up.
Anyhow - is there anyone out there who's also in the third tier? In block 548 as well maybe?

Block 550 Row 3
You'll have a decent view from Row 3. It's quite a way back from the pitch when you're behind the goal but nothing like being at the very back of the stand!

I can say from personal experience that if you're in the first few rows of the top tier, then you've got a good view. And - for the lazy/fat fuckers amongst you - an escalator to get you up there.
TBH there isn't really a bad seat to be had, except maybe if you're right at the back, & level with the middle third of the pitch then that is very high up and the players are tiny, but it's still an ace view. Compare that to the old stadium where there were hardly any good seats - you could pay top whack & have a fucking pillar splitting a goal down the middle, it was too flat, you were miles from the pitch behind the goals etc.

I'm in block 549, row 1!!!!!
I sat in the front row of the top teir to watch an England game a couple of years ago and the view is fantastic! Having said that, I sat two rows from the back to watch some egg chasing (League) just before that and I was surprised how good the view was. I think the only slightly ropey seats are the ones right at the front on the botton tier. But even then it probably isnt much different to being in the Town End, the pitch is just a little further away!

I think if I was sat in row 1 I'd be worried about falling over the edge when we scored! No self-control!

Row 1... you can stretch your feet then That's another real plus point about the new stadium - so much room! Sad fact - every single seat has more space around it than the seats in the old royal box had. When those with small bladders have to keep getting up, you don't even need to stand up to let them past you, just slide back a bit & there's loads of room for them to get by.
