I'm a 62. Living in an Irish household and being 5 the 66 World Cup passed me by. The first I remember is 70 - not a bad first one to remember.

1974 would be the first after I was born. 1982 is the first I remember too - just. I got into football late.

1970 was the first one after i was born, 78 is the first one i remember, Ally's Army bombing against Peru and Iran then beating Holland 3-2 with Archie Gemmill's super goal. I was only 10 and the games started late i remember but my mum let me stay up late to watch most of them. The ticker tape is another thing which stuck in my mind.

66 for me, my dad went to the final as a guest of the army. I do have an original programme if that's worth any bonus points.

Proper running shoes?
Because I just got these beauties and I'm definitely wearing them with jeans

They're clearly not running trainers.

I wouldn't class them as running shoes.
