I've just watched something I recorded on sky plus a few days ago and the recording ended while the programme was still on. I've had this happen a couple of times now. Anyone else had it and who does it happen?

I know I deserve all the abuse that comes my way for watching the One Show. Not so much a show but a cacophony of random tat watered down and fed to the viewer over their oven baked crispy battered “fish” and frozen veg. That said it is easy viewing, the sort of nonsense that makes comfortable background noise and saves having to make the effort of meaningful conversation.
Anyway, if Matt Baker with his voice sounding like he’s permanently going through puberty wasn’t bad enough Alex Jones is just pure car crash stuff. Listen to her trying to tail off interviews is at times its borderline abusive.
Old walking corpse Bruce Forsyth was on last week was rambling on with one of his anecdotes and he rounded off with the usual whaaaay to signal the end of the blether. During the ramble old Alex had glazed over and was clearly starting to panic the nation’s zombie was pushing out Giles Brandrith’s VT on ear wigs and without any signal looks at the camera as Bruce is milking his canned laughter and says “well never mind, here’s Giles...”.
I know its fucking utter rubbish but for the love of god someone tell the woman how to read an auto cue and at least pretend she's listening to the crap she's presenting.
Anyway, arse or armpit first?

Why don't you change the settings to record for a little longer after the programme's finishing time - that way if it running late it'll still catch the ending |
