It sounds like her defence lawyer used legal loopholes to get her off, unfortunately it's morally repugnant but within 'the eyes of the law' sadly. "We examined this case in great detail – including obtaining the advice of a forensic collision expert – and it has become clear that there is not enough evidence to demonstrate that this collision could reasonably have been avoided, and therefore that the driving was careless" Surely to goodness, given this driver had neither a licence, or insurance that basically demonstrates she shouldn't have been on the road ar all, and therefore that would demonstrate that the collision could have been avoided? Evidently not sadly.

No right to be on the road isn't used on determining whether the accident was called driving. It's ridiculous.
The other offences were apparently dropped because of some legal time limit. Also ridiculous.

We are looking at further proceedings and a different attack plan of legal action, cant say much more than that right now but my cousin Mike (Harrys Grandad) is absolutely in shock at the outcome. Its truly not justice of any possble form. I will speak to him later and see what the plans are but she cannot get away with this.

Of no comfort whatsoever, but the community is behind him.

The Brookhouse Farm is closing Great cooked breakfast. Being replaced by a hickory’s smokehouse though which sounds promising

For a chain it's pretty decent to be honest, been to Shrewsbury's and Worcester's. Good value platter for £30pp, which may sound expensive but having done a fair bit of "low and slow" I know it's not a quick or cheap thing to do. Do wonder if the food is just brought i and heated up mind. But even so... edit: they have smokers somewhere! https://hickorys.co.uk/blog/all-about-our-barbecue/

My cousins are on the BBC local news later at 6.30 and have the backing of Swindon North MP. She (Ivy Mwangi) has never had a UK driving license and had no insurance when she killed Harry, yet there was not enough evidence to get any conviction, thats just fucking wrong. There is community support building so hopefully she will face some form of justice.

Two tier again? I don't understand how not having a UK licence, insurance isn't being dealt with. As well as the obvious.

Because, remarkable, there is a 6 month time limit to prosecute on this charge. I guess the CPS went for the proper charge (death by careless) and it lapsed. No idea why not do both.

There has been a near-constant police presence around her house since, several times there's been multiple cars one blues-and-twos arriving. She has kids herself, to do what she did and just drive off is base level evil. She knows the levels of hurt she's caused and doesn't seem at all sorry, it's fucking gross. The placement of the mobile CCTV camera and the street name she lives on being made public make it fairly obvious where she lives, although she was removed from the address in distress by the coppers yesterday after someone knocked on her door.
