Seems like a cartel in our area, five local garages used to charge amounts varying by 1 or2p a litre, bit of competition like, now the whole lot are charging 199.9p per litre for diesel and prices haven’t changed in over a week. You can’t tell me that they’ve all paid the same price when buying in, Seems to me that they have put their heads together and said ‘fuck em’ that’s the price and they’ll have to pay. And that’s with oil prices going down, thieving bastards.

There is an element of that I’m sure and as mine and your pension funds have taken a hit recently in the longer term those who control the money will be under pressure to make companies profitable and by association our pensions more robust. However you look at it to make an omelette you have to break eggs.

Back onto fuel prices, coat of fuel oil is below £1/l at the moment so my arse the fuel prices staying statically high are anything to do with the cost of crude. I don't blame individual garage owners (necessarily), but fuck me it's prohibitive at the moment. You can tighten your belt with food and heating etc, but you NEED petrol and there's no alternative if you want to do anything.

People who blindly press the button on pedestrian crossings before they check if it’s actually necessarily. Having to stop at a red light when driving that could have been avoided leaves me mildly vexxed (and then I go about my day and forget about it, of course).

Mrs Audrey got pulled over by the Greek police last evening and breath tested. She failed. Would have been fine in the UK but she tested for 31 mg where the limit here is 25. UK is 35.
They were really nice, tbf and tried everything to get her down below 25 but to no avail. They were parked by a church and got her to drink holy water from a hose!
Anyway, €200 fine.

Obviously the good lord did not intervene. Bad luck Mrs Aud.

I take it that there is to be no court appearance, ban and a fine?

Monumental bruise on the outside of my right thigh. Thing is I have no recollection of when the offending collision with whatever did it happened. Looks like I have been kicked by an ‘orse. Fuck you, anti platelet and aspirin meds.

Surprised they didn't take a bribe. From experience, Greek police can be dodgy as hell.
