28C today. Just saying.
Its 23C here in Somerset but the wind chill factor may have a say on how it feels.

I hate it when its too hot, anything over 25C is not good for my breathing since I had the blood clots on the lungs.

I don't know what it is, I very rarely feel the cold, I'll wear shorts in sub zero temperatures. Just something about today was really cold.

I suspect its the shock of it going from really quite hot at the start of the week to really quite cold at the end of the week, changes over here tend to be much more gradual.

Albeit I am still in shorts, but with a fleece on.

I have never really felt the cold and would happily not have the heating on in the house until it reaches zero degrees C. .

It was warmer in Warrington today than in Swindon. Very strange.

Parcel delivery.
I ordered something today from somewhere 15 miles from Swindon. It's gone to Birmingham,  now it's in Bristol.

Why?

I'd have driven there after work if they could have left it under a bench or something.

My main concern would be that the parcel arrives successfully and in good time.

Just seen a new Lloyds Bank ad showing starry-eyed people gazing at the horse as it runs alongside a steam train and along a beautiful beach, before the usual proclamation that they are still "by your side".

There is though, no mention of Libor, PPI or compensation as a result of the HBOS Reading scandal when they didn't appear to be "by your side", except that they probably wanted to be close so they could pick your pocket.

Wankers!

I'm no markerting expert but wouldn't have thought they would get many customers by going down that route.

Why will some vendors not allow you to pay with PayPal unless it's attached to a CC?

The money in my PP account is in the account. It must be in order for me to pay them, and it gets sent there and then. Whether or not it's attached to a CC makes no difference whatsoever.

I have a CC, but it's too late for that faff right now. I could sort it tomorrow but by then I won't be bothered about making the purchase. They've lost a sale, basically.

I don't understand it. There must be a reason for it, why needlessly cause friction?

Bus stops not set back from the road like they used to be which now cause  traffic to back up when they stop to collect/drop off passengers
