Do you remember Vesta curries? Height of sophistication in about 64/65. Think Swindon had The Khyber, but Indian cuisine was very much an exotic mystery, a Vesta curry consisted of dried sauce that you just had to rehydrate, and then boil the rice.... it even had sultanas in |
