'Storm Gareth'. Seriously. Sounds like something from the 90's. Who chooses these names?!

That reminds me, when procrastinating like Flashheart earlier, I saw this below - the bit I refer to is at 7:20. The non-link opens at the right place.

To use a quote from the comments, "Remember kids. If you’re ever illegally pulled over, the proper response is to put a mask on and walk into your local police station with an assault rifle. Common sense."
They both went to prison for that! https://www.clickondetroit.com/news/men-who-walked-into-dearborn-police-station-armed-with-guns-tactical-vests-sentenced

Probably one for Reg.
Before decimalisation when we were on good old LSD (pounds/shillings/pence for those wondering) why was the ‘pence’ part denoted by the letter D?

From the Latin solidus and denarius, the Roman currency Denarius.

Denarius.... Roman coin. It was adopted as a sort of Euro, in Carolingan Europe circa the 8th century, then adopted by Offa of Mercia into England, equivalent to a penny, and stuck.

That moment of hush and the stares when a drink is spilled in the pub. I can take it, an invader on foreign turf and all that.
It's the loss of a large vodka that is particularly painful.
