It's unfortunate that its seen as socially unacceptable to punch the little shits who are making my eldest's school days a misery at the minute in the face. His teacher has been ill for some months whilst it's stepped up, raised my concerns with the school previously but nothing has changed, his teacher has been back for 2 weeks and has already picked up on the issues and is taking steps to resolve the issues. Fingers crossed it gets sorted out quickly.

The recent shift in politics, I'm not sure I get it.  It seems the left is now well off and attempting to rule the world for corporate greed and the right wants to do well for the down trodden man, provided they are white and invest in things like infrastructure while placing barriers to trade in the way and protecting jobs on the home front.

Isn't the latter more left leaning? and the former the sort of thing a good ole fashioned capitallist would be up for?
The Clintons and Blairs are about as left-wing as the Tories/Republicans they claim to oppose. The liberal left shit itself after Thatcher and Reagan, swallowed the "end of history" neo-con myth and decided they'd have to realign themselves around what they saw as a new consensus. Hence the Tories in Left Clothing of Blair and Clinton. And they're a fucking con job, presiding over some of the greatest kleptocracy in history, which the majority of ordinary people are rightly revolted by and revolting against. Some turn to the populist right, in Trump, Farage and their ilk who like their predecessors feign concern for the ordinary working man while continuing to enrich the corporates. But Trump is no more "left-wing" than Mussolini or others of his ilk. They're populists, so will always have some left-looking stuff in their portfolio, but it's window-dressing, nothing more.

Sorry to hear that mate, its horrible to hear. My eldest will be at school next year and it fills me with fear that he might be targeted.
I know for a fact that Josephine will not stand for it though. She will take matters into her own hands if needed. She may be small but she scares the shit out of me when shes angry

McGregor is the king of trash talk. Its brilliant. I'm torn with this match up through. On paper Money should destroy him, but i don't think it will be and one sided as some think.

You'll do fookin' nuttin!!!!

This isn't trivial at all, it's fucking despicable, but couldn't think where else to put it:

What a shower of shitheads.

How anyone can't see that McGregor is a persona i do not know. 10 years ago the bloke was on the dole and has talked his way into becoming a millionaire and a great fighter. Good on him

It will go a few rounds because Mayweather is a businessman and ending it quickly will make no business sense.

However it's the best boxer of a generation against a guy who, at best, will turn up with average in ring skills.  The whole thing is a joke that should last 2 rounds if was a genuine fight

Out of interest why should it last only 2 rounds?

As per the sentence before.

You hear stuff about McGregor being surprisingly good in sparring, you would expect to hear that but even if true I don't think people still don't realise quite how good Mayweather is.

Mayweather could surely take him out inside 6 mins if he chose to. However his defensive style means he will probably drag it out a while.

Anyway I hate this fight, demeans the sport a little for me

The thing is and a lot of people forget this is despite how good Floyd is his knockout rate over the last 10 years is low,he is a sublime boxer, arguably the best but he is not a big puncher. McGregor for a living takes elbows and kicks to the head of much more powerful men than Floyd and that is where my interest in this fight comes from. Is mayweather expecting a traditional type fight where he can dictate with his jab because if he is then the fight will become interesting
