I've got a vent on the outside wall of my flat for expelling the air from my hob hood and the wind loves to bang it about.
I'm now on my 3rd different model and this one is noisy as fuck, it's a bit more weighty and appears better, but it's awful. The old girl in the flat above must want me dead, fortunately I don't have a problem sleeping through noise, just cold.

Just realised I allowed the wife (in her panic last night) to book a Sun holiday for May day weekend. Wasn't keen initially as its the middle of the term, now woken up this morning and realised of course it is also the last game of the season.
What a bell. Let's hope we sew up automatic nice and early.

Swansea sell a player for £28 million. I don't know if I'm impressed or appalled by that.
To anyone who says that STFC will never be able to compete at a higher level, and that the crowds are not there etc...jump in a time machine, wind it back 10 years and ask your 2005-self whether you could see Swansea (yes, Swansea) doing the same.
Even more impressively, they did it pretty much under their own steam...without massive promotion-purchasing cash gifts from their owners.

If you mean a sun £9.50 holiday don't worry as you can't start booking them until tomorrow, that gives you a day to talk her out of it. |
