Mosquitos went to town on my ankles a few days ago, and they've now swelled up to twice their normal size. So rather than out enjoying berlin, I'm sat in the hostel alone, with three bags of frozen veg at my feet.
Rubbish

Barry, will us admins still earn as much as currently once you change hosts? I'm hopeful that a reduced amount of downtime will mean an increase in posts and therefore more money in my pocket.

are you alllergic to mosquitoes? They do love English blood, I've had a shitload of bites this summer but no swelling. Repellent is useless too, only makes you smell odd

Absolutely. Hoping for a 80-90% earnings increase for you lot and a performance related monthly bonus, which makes last Christmas's bonus, look like pocket change.

I get eaten alive by them. I usually use tiger balm or some Vicks kind of stuff to relieve the swellin etc but you need to catch it quite quickly. Otherwise antihistamines.

The attitude of some office-y type people to those in the 'service' industries... most of my firms are no trouble at all (including one of a fellow tef-er!) and they'll have a little chat, or at least a hello and goodbye, but a couple are populated by stuck up office twats who won't even hold a door open as I follow them through with arms full of their mail. Utter bastards. It's not fucking difficult to offer a hello and goodbye, and at least treat me like a human.
Cunts!

Our youngest cat is missing. We got back from holiday in the early hours of this morning and she hasn't appeared, which is very unusual as she's never far away. Having checked with the neighbour who was feeding them, they didn't see her at all yesterday. Hopefully she's shut in somewhere and will appear soon

Given the weather many people will have been working in their gardens. Good luck.

Reminds me of a time when access to workplace was by electronic card and came across a top bossman waiting by the door as he obviously did not have his card with him. Should have seen the look he gave me when I asked him if he worked there! then again we were also called "grunts" by another top man as well.

She's back I think you're right, she appears to be sulking that we've been away and is giving us all the cold shoulder
