Sleepless nights.
I desperately need more money and have work piling up which will make me more money, yet my mind decides it'll stay awake all fucking night long leaving me unable to get stuff done. Cheers then.

Some thing simiular happened to me last night in that the socks ring main tripped, so i had to unplug every socket in the house to see which one was causing it, i tried every single socket in the house & the last one to try was the problem one, 18 different sockets & it was the 18th one. The problem item was something that i had thrown out not 3 days earlier because it was broken but the kids decided they wanted it so brought it back in.

Spent 20 minutes on the exercise bike last night. Obviously it won;t make a difference overnight though and intend to keep at it.

Isn't that just going to raise your levels of adrenalin just before going to bed. Hot bath/shower is always a good one, apparently. The inevitable lowering of your body temperature afterwards is meant to have a soporific effect.

Don't do this too late - do it early evening or else you are waking your body and mind up. Also, try to avoid using telly, computers, consoles even phones a couple of hours before going to bed. Again this stimulates the mind causing insomnia. There is lots of guidance on line - the trick is getting into good habits and routines and sticking to them.

Can't you also work at night? I'm genuinely productive from 11 'til about 3.
