Found quite a few of these, Could it be our year?
The last time we beat Leeds' before this season the year ended with a '0', The last time we beat Leeds' before this season they were promoted, The last time we beat Leed's before this season we won the Play-Offs.
In the 92'-93' Season we drew 1-1 at home to Leicester and we lost 4-2 away at Leicester before beating them in the Play-Off Final.
This season we drew 1-1 at home to Millwall and lost 3-2 away at Millwall, What will happen in the Final?
In 1993 We stumbled over the line, having been in contention for an automatic spot like this season.
We played the first leg of the semi final at home, the second away, Just like this season.
We played Leicester in the Final who had lost the Play-Off Final the previous season.
The opposition team played in Blue.
Not sure if i believe in that kind of thing but that above points to a Swindon win although anything could happen on the day.
COME ON YOU REDS!!!!

92-92 We won the first leg of the playoff at home and lost the away game...coincidence? The away attendance was higher than the home attendance.......coincidence? Lost on the last day of the normal season by 1 goal away from home....coincidence?
Yes they are just coincidences, there are a million things which are no coincidences.

I don't want to jinx us obviously and i'm not really superstitious, A few more omens could be the fact that a team finishing 3rd in the Play-Offs rarely wins, Same thing has happened so far this season, Forest failed and Morecambe who finished in the top Play-Off spot failed too, In 93' we finished 5th and won the Play-Offs.
Millwall have failed in the Play-Offs 5 times, Let's make that 6 with any luck.

Also, we're playing on 29th May, which is the same day we beat the Pikey's at Selhurst in '87.
I don't know if the following is an omen, or just co-incidence, but we've clinched promotion in 4 out of the 5 years that the league sponsor is about to change, and in that we were still sponsored by Nationwide, and we won promotion in '06-07 when that was they're final year as a team sponsor.
Season 1985-86, which was the final year of the Canon League, we were Div 4 Champions.
Season 1986-87, which the only season of the Today League, we were Div 3 play-off winners
Season 1992-93, which the final year of the Barclays League, we were Div 1 play-off winners
Season 1995-96, which was the final year of the Endsleigh League, we were Div 2 Champions.
Season 2003-04, which was the final year of the Nationwide League, we were play off Semi finalists, but we were still sponsored by Nationwide, which finished in 2006-07, when we won promotion from Div 3.
And this season is the final year of the Coca-Cola league, League 1 Play-off winners, anyone ?
