That's quite scary. Still remember it all vividly even though it was 20 years ago. I was just going round to a neighbour's to babysit when the news came though we'd been demoted. I remember half our street being out in the road and a number of people hysterically crying. My dad and a couple of the other blokes shot off down the County Ground and were gone for hours. Then there were the protest marches, the stickers most of Swindon had in their cars 'First Not Third' and all the graffiti that sprung up around the Town about Brian Hillier! |

Salisbury were never going to win that appeal. A great shame, it was worrying to think they were only one division below us at one point! I wish the Chippenham vs. Salisbury rivalry well.
