I think most of the people on this board, who are thinking of going to the Green Man pub, must understand that if Millwall supporters decide they want the pub, they will move on mass and take it. I'm sorry to be the prophet of doom, but Millwall will sell their ticket allocation with ease ... they had over 45,000 fans at Wembley last season.

Don't be foolish and rely on the Police, Swindon are playing Millwall, not Yeovil ...

Also, have you seen the layout of pubs at Wembley? Most of the pubs are grouped to the Swindon side of the stadium, so it's a bit of a no brainer really.
Out of the 38,000 (or whatever) Millwall fans going to Wembley, how many do you think are actually involved in the violence etc that forms the club's reputation? I'd say at most 2%. I know you're not saying this in a deliberate attempt to provoke a reaction, but I have NEVER seen any serious violence at a football match. It's not to say it will never happen - plenty of innocent people got caught up ina what happened at the Inn on the Green a few years ago - but I see little reason to worry. If Millwall are not allocated a certain pub it will be a very small minority that even thinks they have any right to go there, let alone has the balls to do anything about it.

You're dealing with Millwall supporters ... the ratio of 'active' fans to normal supporters is massive. Come on fella, Millwall's supporting history isn't a myth?

You seem to know a lot about Millwall... And talk of them in quite a proud light...  Hmmm

For what it's worth on the real football factories the millwall bloke says "millwall have a lot of sleeping supporters that turn up for big games, and a lot of those are hooligans".

Having said that I think a game at Wembley will have a different vibe to a massive game at the new den against leeds or whatever.

Do people unecessarily worry about Millwall because of their reputation? Yes.

Will something kick off at some point during the day? Probably.

Will it involve shirt wearing fans? Very unlikely.

That's my POV.

I have several mates who live and work in South London, have witnessed over the years some of the tactics involved, so it really is plain to see. I guess it's a classic case of taking note or burying 'ones' head in the sand ... I'd settle for the former myself?

Why can't they play in their red away kit and we play in our blue third strip?

Perfect, that would confuse the fuck out of the players, manager, fans and commentators.  Plus the hoolies won't know who to slap.

Love the fact they've put on a public forum the intention to take the pub.

I suspect plenty of OB will be anticipating this action anyway, almost certainly now.
