I have just been bumming about on the internet & playing Tiger Woods 2005 because I couldn't sleep and just realised its nearly half 4. There are birds chirping and its light outside :shock:  Shocked

I played FIFA 2004 with my cousin for 13 hours straight taking it in turns to play, with only the occasional toilet break.

and I think The actual quote was "Sarcasm is the highest form of wit. I don't think"

or something similar but people have misunderstood the point.

Sarcasm is a type of irony but irony is not a type of sarcasm.

Yup, sarcasm is irony used as a put down, whereas an ironic statement is one where the opposite is true.

An example of sarcasm may be: "Dave doesn't like gay porn"

An example of irony may be: "Nobody likes money"
