Whether it be a WC bid or England World Cup Campaign there is always some big event to throw a spanner in the works!

It's still the early-ish stages so I don't think the dent will be that huge. The FA were right to oust Triesman very, very quickly.

Everyone should be allowed a private life, where they can say rediculous things in confidence to people they should be able to trust.
Disgraceful journalism.

Couldn't really care less about Triesman, but the MoS have just sunk huge amounts of taxpayers money that they will no doubt moan about being wasted. Tossers.

Exactly. Fucking snidey hypocrites. And the woman who set him up should be bloody ashamed of herself too. Hope her nice tidy payoff makes up for outing herself as a money-grabbing slag in the national press.

God, it could yet get worse. Just seen this on the BBC's gossip/transfers page: Lord Sugar has announced he is ready to to take charge at the crisis-hit Football Association, replacing Lord Triesman, who resigned on Sunday. The FA are a bloody mess

"Fabio, for failing to get the team past the quarter finals, for not preparing the team to take penalties, for taking an over the hill carthorse of a defender from Liverpool and an over the hill carthorse of a striker from Birmingham to the World Cup... you're fired."

The best thing about the storie is that a 66 year old man is talking crap to impress a woman. It just proves that most fellas are rubbish and dont get any better with age . I feel sorry for him.

I'd love to see Margaret's eyebrows reaching for the stratosphere as John Terry does something cringeworthy like the whole walking round topless but with the Captain's armband on.

Gary Lineker's quit from writing a column for the Mail in protest at the shoddy journalism. Don't normally have much time for the crisp-pushing Blandotron but fair play to him on this. Shows some integrity the Mail wouldn't recognise if it bit them. And in the unlikely event there's any Mail "journalists" reading this that's I-N-T-E-G-R-I-T-Y. Go look it up
