Right, the Charlton game, finally decided to drive somewhere like a tube station and dump the car there and tube it in. That way I'm not risking missing extra time or pens.

For reasons I won't bore people with going to be driving from Basingstoke, so travelling via M3 or M4. Probably leaving 1:30-2pm ish

Anyone got any ideas as to where might be a good place to park up, preferably free/cheap car park or street parking without those damn residents parking restrictions?

free street parking by the ace cafe-stonebridge park.
bit of a trek from there mind.
reckon there will be a better option

Just looking, and it might be possible to do overland from Basingstoke itself, assuming the walk from waterloo east to waterloo can be done in 20 minutes!

Thanks, just been checking thetrainline and I can't see a problem overlanding from Basingstoke. Was told otherwise, should have checked!
