If he scores and we win 1-0, do you win twice?

What Rustle said. I would however prefer him to score the first and last in a 5-0 stuffing.

Dear dear. Some of those odds are unbelievably poor. Why don't people shop around ?

So tell us what the best odds are then. I haven't got accounts with most and I'm not very familiar with Betfair.

I think betting on first goalscorer is too hard to get right anyway. Considering how hard to predict it is the odds don't seem very good. As for combining first goalscorer with correct scoreline, I personally wouldn't bother with than either.
I would like to cover
Swindon to win 2-1 (9/1 with ladbrokes)
and
Swindon to win 3-1 (18/1 with ladbrokes)
although I doubt I'll have time to get to the bookies.
The surest bet I think would be 3 or more goals (11/10 with ladbrokes).
You could no doubt get better odds on all of those. I've just been looking on 1 site (guess which one).

It really depends on what bet you want. For instance, arriba got 19/1 on Paynter/1-0 Town whereas Corals would have paid 51/1. Spy is right in saying that 1st scorer/correct score bets can be tricky, yet tonights game should be close and we only really have two scorers so it doesn't leave much to the imagination. I'd recommend Paynter/Austin and 1-0/2-1 in 4 x doubles. Now watch Lucas score the only goal with his head.

Yep. Paynter @ 11/2 and 1-0 @ 7/1 = 51/1
