The only suprise is that it didnt happen before.....remembering myself going to such old wooden stands at Blackpool and Port Vale...and most of the fans smoking in them.
Can remember this sad day vividly.

I remember Southampton away in the cup a few backs at the Dell.

We had the side stand and you had to duck as you walked down the back of it to get to your seat - if you didn't then you hit your head on the wooden steps from the stand above! So cramped.
