One of Baines or Warnock won't make the final 23, that much is obvious enough.
Zamora and Jagielka the main names to miss out, but fair enough I think.

Few others missing.
Downing & Hargreaves
Jamie Carragher?!?!
Hmm from that I'd probably go Hart, James, Green, Johnson, King, Dawson, Terry, Ferdinand, Baines, Cole, Milner, Walcott, Lennon, Gerrard, Lampard, Barry, Carrick, Johnson, Cole, Rooney, Crouch, Defoe & Heskey

I'm surprised Ashley Young isn't in there. I think he offers something different. But the i suppose Lennon, SWP, Walcott etc already offer most of what he does...

Carragher and Heskey, that's scraping the barrel.
I guess it goes back to yesterdays conversation about how shit the squad is. At least I won't be full of misplaced optimism this time.

To be fair the Heskey argument is old now but every England manager picks him and every england striker scores goals alongside him. That Gabby bloke at villa always seems to have his goal scoring streaks when heskey is playing.
I'm inclined to listen to managers and players rather than blokes like me who see him as a easy target
