I saw this whilst watching the scores come in, Palace draw 2-2 with Shef Wed which means Wednesday go down. This delighted Palace fan comes face to face with a not so delighted Wednesday fan

Deserved everything he got. Can people not celebrate without having to wind up/goad opposition fans? I noticed that Grimsby fans were running across the pitch goading the Barnet fans at the opposite end of the stadium yesterday as well. Newcatle fans managed to celebrate at Plymouth without any hassle.

Yep,if i jump on the pitch at Millwall after we beat them the least i can expect is two broken legs being we are in the top tier..also a good kicking to boot.

the beeb quickly cut away from showing a palace player getting punches swung at him by some moron.
i'm sure a fair few palace fans and their cars will be nursing wounds tonight.

I spotted that too, very funny, kept rewinding it. Players getting attacked etc is sick, but dicks like that getting lamped is highly amusing.

There was one (perhaps the same one?) of a Palace player being chased and swung at by a 13 or 14 year old kid. Fair play to him for not turning round and putting the kid in his place - Palace could have got in a lot of/even more trouble if he did.

I wonder if similar stuff will be getting posted on here on Saturday night? Yes, I know it's going to be pretty hard for our lot to get on the pitch which will obviously help but still...

I hope they throw the book at Luton...attacking players is fucking pathetic.

Ironically they had a lot of sympathy due to the points deductions and Millwall fans rioting there in the 80's.

In this case I agree, the FA should throw the rule book at them, and maybe make them play some home games behind closed doors.

Carlisle did it earlier this season as well.

A lot of the time the media go completely overboard on trouble, but I think there is a trend for an increase in attacks on players.

In general the relationship between fans and the players has been deteriorating for quite some time. The players seem arrogant and the fans frustrated.
