And there's a good chance tickets will sell out by Wed. Although I still don't think there's likely to be enough demand to warrant the expense of setting up a live feed tbh (he says with no idea how much it would cost, but assuming it would be expensive because these things always are)

tough, its a football league game.
The whole point is you have to buy a ticket to see it.

I think it was a reference to Dave's post about asking the club for a live feed.

I dont see why it wouldnt be possible?
Of course I shortened my question, the full question would have been something along the lines of, if we sell all our tickets and there is a huge demand of about 3,000 fans wanting to watch the game without a ticket willing to pay ticket like prices to watch it on a big screen in the County Ground would is possible to actually do it.

By the time tickets have sold out though, it doesn't leave enough time to get it organised and people watching.

If you could guarantee (or have a reasonable expectation) of those sort of numbers then yes I'm sure it would be possible. But in the time available, I don't see how you could. And if there's a significant financial outlay to set it all up in what is a VERY short space of time, then you'd be taking one hell of a risk if only a couple of hundred turned up. Of course, if it's only a couple of grand or less to do then that's a different matter.

I don't think the demand will be there. The 2,200 that go to Millwall will be the ones able to make it. Most others will not be able to go for whatever reason and therefore probably won't be able to make a screening at the CG either.

I've got a feeling that there's some sort of football league rule that prohibits matches being beamed live from ground to ground anyway. I think it can only be got round if the game is being shown live on tv to start with?

It's asking if they were to show the Millwall game on the screens in the legends lounge would you pay a fiver for the priviledge? Presumably to cover the costs of the feed.
