we should form a unofficial twinning with their forum

Seems we have had an unofficial twinning with their league position. FFS, even my German team looks like being relegated.

I was in Hamburg last weekend (great City).

Watched the second half of the St Pauli v Werder Bremen game in a boozer. St Pauli were pretty woeful. Pizarro had a field day and scored 2 goals. The St Pauli area of Hamburg is pretty cool.

Moenchengladbach v Dortmund was interesting as well. A sea of yellow at the game as Dortmund could have won the league. They lost.

Holy thread resurrection....

Quite an interesting podcast about what's going on at St Pauli re them being back in the Bundesliga and the ways the club and fans are working together trying to raise money to give them the financial foundations to stay there...

looks very interesting, will have a listen - ta for sharing that.

Some really novel approaches generally from German clubs who are trying to develop other sources of revenue.

We could have had an official partnership with AZ Alkmaar if Clems asking price wasn't so high, allegedly.

Rather them than the hipster sanctimonious "I'm more left wing than you" try hards, for me.

Looking at the German leagues, surprised to see Hertha Berlin are only currently mid table second tier.
