So their punishment for breaking the salary cap by 300% is promotion !!
They'll go bust in the next 2 years.

I'm sure there will be more twists in this saga. Its far from over. All we can do is do our best. Win the games we can.

I think its natural to be disappointed at blowing second, if that is what happens
I'd look at it this way - if we do indeed miss out on second, given the relative expectations etc, we blow second, Leeds blow winning the league at a canter, both sides end up in the play-offs, who's had the better season? Like I said last night, I'd rather be us than Leeds

If Charlton draw with Norwich, Leeds lose at gillingham, Milwall draw at Huddersfield and we beat Walsall all four teams will be on 80 points going into the last three games. All of the results are more than possible and would leave a mental promotion race
That's just fucking crazy.

Charlton would have to beat Norwich for that to happen but your point still stands.
I'm still loving this season. Fuck predictions, anything can happen.

....both sides end up in the play-offs, who's had the better season? We will, when we knock them out. Obviously. This season has exceeded my expectations ten fold. All I am saying is we shouldn't be getting the playoff cigars out yet - lets go all out for second. If we don't get it lets not sit around happy at getting to the playoffs. Lets use the "dissapointment" as motivation to fire us to Wembley glory.

Certainly the most exciting division at the top. It reads like a game of football manager.

Much as I'd obviously like to go up automatically, I do quite like the idea of having the chance to beat Leeds four times in one season

I want Huddersfield if we end up in the play-offs, or Colchester with a ref not afraid to use his cards. Charlton/Leeds/Millwall would all be trickier ties. Especially with Nicky fucking Forster at Charlton.
