theres always liverpool or fulham in europa league tomorrow - definatly think liverpool will qualify not sure about fulham tho

I'll be cheering on Fulham. Great to see a club like them doing well in Europe. It could go either way but I must admit I didn't expect them to beat Juve a few weeks back.

I think Samdy is quoting sad case armchairs....lack of erudition in the language is surely to be expected from them.

I don't care Reg. Bad grammar is strictly forbidden on the townend forum.

Right Sam?

I've just watched the highlights - cracking goal to win it from Robben.  I think it makes it interesting to have a year with no English teams in the semi-finals.  I'm very much looking forward to those games now.

No surprises from Ferguson - all the biggest winners are the worst losers.  I don't think he was really going to say anything else - none of us expect a consistency of argument from him, do we?

No, but it would be nice to see a Journalist having the spine to point it out to him.

Ferguson is a hypocritical oaf, his team has been doing the same for years. As a Bavarian my view is bias, of course, but Rafael pulled back Ribery and it was definately a booking.

Ferguson is also a desperate man given their trophy push is all but over (both CL and PL) - playing an unfit Wayne Rooney.

The only 'typical German' (although there was very few playing) thing about the performance was that they didn't give up at 3-0.

Louis van Gaals' clipboard > Alex Fergusons' mind-games
