Ok Tech heads

Your advice would be gratefully recieved ;

I currently play all my music through my PS3 on to a 5:1 speaker system, and am looking to invest in an amp to enhance the sound quality.

What sort of amp do I need to get and is it soing to be a pain in the hole to set up ?

Love

Fred x

A relatively cheap surround sound receiver/amplifier would do the job, you're not going to get belting quality unless you upgrade the entire system.

Get a decent cd player and amp setup, will be a doddle to set up. As Chubbs says axs is the best man to ask, I haven't kept in touch with the hi-fi market.

Due you play your movies thorugh it andy?

If you do, get an an amp that is capable of decoding DTS-HD signals, that way you can have high def sound if watching blu-rays etc

Ah, I thought you still had those crappy little ones Smiley

You just want a decent 5.1 surround amp (I take it you've got a sub as well?). Most newer ones have HDMI connections.

Give me a shout when you've sorted it all and I'll come and hook it all up.

Make sure you have enough digital inputs on the amp too.....

1 for PS3
1 for Sky HD box (if you have one)

That would be the very least you should need I think.....
