As strange as this sounds i'm rather glad our injuries are coming now rather than next month. This month is a tough one anyway and many fans have us down to get hardly any points so lets get the injured players fit for the run in and the play offs.
Does this have any logic behind it?

Dont think it matters, spirit massive, and it should be easy to get a couple of loaners in if needed.

Sounds like the fringe players are keen to take their opportunities when given and to find a positive, it will offer more competition for places when they return to fitness.

If the players who come in play like that every week - then I dont care when the injuries and suspensions kick in.
Gutted for Ferry, the second looked like a good tackle from where I was. I'm never usually quite sure whether to clap off a player who has just got himself sent off. He deserved it tonight, he was awesome.

In a strange way the situation had revitalised us in the last couple of fixtures.

I'm a bit concerned with some of the injuries we have recently and the role of Dick Mackey as physio. At Franchise last week and Southampton he has sent players back onto the pitch in Manky and Scotty Cuthbert who are clearly injured and unable to continue.
Cuthbert could clearly hardly walk after going back on tonight and when he tried to put any weight on his leg he was straight over. Sounds like it's a medial ligament injury and hopefully sending Cuthbert back on doesn't cause any lasting damage. A decent physio should do a structural check on the knee take no risks at all. I have from a couple of people including a sports injury professional that Dick Mackey isn't the best physio in the world so hope it doesn't haunt us.
Hamstring injuries are likely to be attritional from the number of games recently that some of the players have had (Billy, Manky) or where players not playing regularly without many reserve games have to step up (Vince P). Would have to look at the stretching, warming down and treatment of any 'hamstring twinges'.
Great performance tonight by all the lads and one of those special nights to be a Town fan. Everyone worked their socks off and Charlie's finish was fantastic (and maybe a touch of the Don by going around the keeper, you don't see that very often these days. Good that some of the reserves (Phil Smith, Lesc & Marshall) shone as well.

Mackey is not a qualified physiotherapist. Get rid.

This is the chance for the fringe players to show what they can do, Lesh at CB, Mark Marshall, Phil Smith. So far they have done a great job by the sounds of it. Long may it continue!!

To be fair, I think Cuthbert himself wanted to carry on. You could clearly see he was injured, but I think the player has the final decision.

Cuthbert could hardly walk? Um did anyone else see him sprint back into the centre circle when he came in or have my eyes gone as well now?

We always knew we were going to lose some of the regular players, I'm surprised we've lasted this long before it started. The real issue has always been whether we had the players to replace them and up until very recently the answer would have been no. But have we got enough to last to the end of the season?
We're sorted for keepers (I don't think Wilson will have a problem sending the polish bloke out if needs be). With the signing of Darby out defence is sorted and the midfield has been sorted for a while now. So that leaves the strikers, we need four in total so we're one short - hopefully Wilson can sort it and get someone half decent in.

Danny Invincible doesnt seem to feature much for Kilmarnock at the moment - would provide good cover in centre forward and wing areas - would seem to fit well with our formation too - would personally love to see him come back for the rest of the season

We can't take an 'emergency' loan player from Scotland,as proven with our interest in Caddis. It has to be players from England.
