Well done Craig, good to see players putting back into the community and I understand Easton does his fair share in this regard.

BUT:

the venture was a huge success, with Orchid Vale literacy co-ordinator Claire Kennedy admitting: “Having members of Swindon Town Football Club advocate reading in our school will not only boost the children’s reading, but will also strengthen links in the community.”
No, she didn't. She didn't "admit" anything, she just fucking said it. Unless you're trying to make out that she was initially reluctant to say having footballers read books to kids helps, and your probing journalistic skills forced it out of her. Sorry, but this habit the Adver sports journos have of always having someone "admitting", "conceding" or "insisting" things when they've quite plainly just "said" a perfectly bland statement of fact or mild hope just drives me bloody potty. She said it, just like the players say things to you.
