Just had the email, who writes this shite (Ralphy?) and why do we not have a proof reader?
OK I know it's bad form to point out errors but the standard of English in that mailout is shocking. Perhaps we need to fill the ground to pay for someone who can write decent copy?

It's hardly the worst crime ever is it? Are least the club is making an effort to spread the word.
Although it probably cost them to send a season ticket renewal form to my house when I've already renewed.
If you don't want the emails you can always click unsubscribe.

I got one as well and have already got an ST. Doesn't bother me. At least they're making an effort as Si says. I mean there are probably a fair few on the list who haven't renewed yet so why not?

I agree that its good the club are trying to get the word out there but I also agree with bo in saying that if you are a business and sending a mail out to potential/existing customers or whatever you want to call it, its pretty basic to ensure the english/grammar is at least correct.
Poor grammar/spelling irritates me as its pretty easy to avoid!

An email for me and a letter through the post. I'm gonna get the same 2 seats in the DRS again; I like the view, I am at the back so I don't get some donut kicking the back of my seat . I can see KOT orchestrating his section of the crowd whilst my (out of tune) vocals seem to inspire those around me to join in. I think I will bring a North Wiltshire Reds flag to put up next season to obscure the South O**n Reds flag to my left.  |
