I would happily take a good beating at Millwall if it meant we won and got promoted

I think there will be a few twists yet anyway.
Millwall have to lose a game soon. 9 games unbeaten now for them.

I'm confident we'll win all our home games and Wycombe away.
Just worried about next saturday how we'll fair on the ploughed field.
Me too. I'm worried about Brentford at home and Colchester away. I'll worry about Millwall if it comes down to that but I think we can seal it before then if we win these games.

Exactly and Millwall will slip soon, i'm sure of that.
Even if it's just a draw, they will drop points.

Colchester is now (obviously) an ultra important game as after that we should realistically expect at least 10 points from the following 4 games. (It feels odd saying that)
Even a draw at colchester would be alright as I get the feeling 11 points from the next 15 available would have us able to get auto promotion at Millwall. As said above they are going to drop some points before we play them. (away at Huddersfield looks a good bet)
Leeds have to play charlton away. Carlisle away isnt an easy game as well.
Charlton have to play Norwich, Leeds and Colchester at home.

Sorry, I assumed that as we played southampton off the park, they were shite and forgot about them. If charlton do it they're going to deserve it with that run-in.

I think they are Paul. I won't be complaining if they turn over Charlton though.

I'll feel a lot happier when Southampton are mathematically out of the playoff race, as they're the team I'd least like to play. Pardew pointed out that Blackpool won 10 out of their last 11 to make the playoffs, which has worried me a bit.

Yeah, that was what I meant - if they still think they can make the play-offs, there's a better chance of them putting up stiff resistance and taking points off Charlton. Whereas if this is the first game after reality has finally hit, they'll be like meringues

It's an odd feeling at the moment. It feels wrong to be expecting to finish 2nd - it seems like we're asking too much. But 2nd is where we are. Finishing in the play-offs would be far from a failure, but we're so close to doing it the "easy" way!
I think each team in the race for 2nd is going to slip up at least once in the next 5 games. Charlton have a tough few weeks, Leeds are still out of form, and it's unlikely that Millwall will carry this run on to the end of the season.
So... I say we take what we're given at Colchester, whether a win, a draw, or even a defeat. The next 4 games are ones we should win, and that should put us in good stead for Millwall away.

I'm more worried about Rovers tbh. If Huddersfield lose tonight they are only 4 points behind them and we all know that after the 2 games against them this season they are probably the team we'd least like to face.

It's our to throw away now though - there are not any games we have left that we can look at and say we won't win that, have confidence Danny has got the lads playing well.
Just need the fanls to get behnd them fully now in the last stretch
